Hi! I want to paint the inside of our front door. The walls and ceiling is in Devine and the shelf and shoe rack has the color Mokka, 2 layers with interiørbeis by Jotun. The neighbouring room has walls in Kokos and ceiling in the red color Structure by Jotun. I will probably have a bench below the black and white mirror with a olive green seat on top. The bench will also be painted in Devine. What color can i paint the front door in? It can be anything from a strong color to a muted neutral one. Maybe a beige or greige color would be nice? Or red/burgundy/mauve? I really dont know. I tried to paint the door green, but i didnt like it. I would appreciate your advice. Ps! Dont mind the clutter and the white cabinet on the floor.

Hi,
I think the door would look good in green. Please have a look att LADY 8494 Organic Green, LADY 8575 Natural Green, LADY 8469 Green Leaf or LADY 8493 Green Tea. If you prefer a beige tone, look att LADY 12075 Soothing Beige, LADY 12076 Modern Beige, LADY 1233 Mohair or LADY 1623 Marrakesh.
Test the colours before you start. Paint doors with LADY Supreme Finish.

Thank you so much! I liked Marrakech and mohair the best together with Devine and Mokka, but im a little unsure if they are the best against the floor. What do you think? I think its difficult to find colors that look good with this floor. I still have to ask if there might be more colors that would look good here. What about a darker brown or greige color? Farrow and ball advices me to paint it broccoli brown, which is a brown with a little green to it. Does jotun have something similar, if you agree that it would look good?

Hi again,
Since you have LADY 12083 Devine on trimmings and woodwork you need to bare that in mind. All other colours, on walls, floors, door etc needs ton look good with Devine and since Devine has a lot of redness, neutrals look better if they also have a pinch of redness in the undertone, like those I suggested.
However, the floor looks (in pictures) a little more greyish (colder). Pleas also try out LADY 10679 Washed Linen fort the walls. Do not forget to try the colours before using it.
Regarding FB I do not have the colourcodes.

Thank you! Excuse me for asking qgain, I still feel like i havent found THE color - except from he beige colours u suggested, which i like, but i am still considering a more "attention seeking" color to spice up the room a bit😊. I love doors that either make a statement or that are unusual and sophisticated. I am thinking green, brown or red/terracotta (of not beige). Are there more green colors that would match? I am personally not found of the green colors u suggested, except green tea. I like green colors that are more olive or brownish green and not so green green. What do u think about colors like olivenlund, oliventre, local green, kaki etc? In my eyes olive colors look good with Mokka and the warm purple-ish floor. Are there ther red or terracotta colors that would look good in this scheme? What about muted coral or a stronger red from the archive? I would like to keep the carpet in the picture. I guess the carpet and the door doesn't have to match perfectly and that i can connect the two through accent colors, so please dont let the carpets colors stop u from mentioning colors that would look good in the room.

Its just the color of the door we are going to change, so we are just talking about finding one color😊 you only have to include devine, Mokka, structure and kokos in the scheme (the same colors as before) and also the red rug will be there. Im looking at the alternatives for the door, but i didnt get a good feeling yet. So im currently considering a olive green or red/terracotta/pink. Any other color suggestion would off course as well be appreciated. Maybe you have some good colors in the archive? Ive looked through the last years collections of Jotun and it didnt click for me😊 I was thinking a sophisticated olive green door could look good with the turquoise and pink in the rug, what do u think? Please comment on olivenlund/oliventre/kaki😊

Thank's. Have a look at some warmer greens lika LADY 8546 Local Green, LADY 8479 Evergreen or LADY 8109 Aprilgrön. Test the colours before painting:)

Thank you! May i ask why kaki, olivenlund and oliventre is not recommended? Kaki looks almost like local green to me😊 What about muted coral, will that work? What about vintage brown or another brown or grey color?

You can try these yellowish greens but I think you will find 8264 Kaki and 8430 Olivträ too yellow against your grey floor. 5906 Olivenlund might work. Please try it. Also try out
LADY 20217 Muted Coral, LADY 2951 Sophisticated Red or LADY 20208 Poetry Red.
