Hi! We would like help with our kitchen reno. We want to paint the kitchen cabinets, the walls and the ceiling as well as the countertop (microcement) and the ventilator (we will build a box around the ventilator and paint the box). I would like one color palette for this room. I am thinking maybe to paint the walls in a soft pink or peach color and the cabinets either in a dark color or a more neutral. It can also be another color on the wall. The only reason why im set on the pink idea is because i dont see what other color that could fit well☺️ maybe you do? Or maybe a color from the archive? It is important for us that the color scheme is compatible with the nearby rooms and at least some of the artwork, especially the torso painting which hangs close to the kitchen. Ps! The red fireplace will be painted in a neutral color. The rug in the kitchen might not stay. Also the red chairs wont stay.

Here are some pictures of the dining room that is next to the kitchen. I would like a color scheme that at least doesn't clash with this room😊 Ps! The red fireplace will be painted in another color.

And just to be clear, we will paint the floral wallpaper in the kitchen as well😊 we would also like help with a color for the microcement on the countertop , thank you so much!

Floor plan😊 i include a picture where u can see the cabinet in the laundry room. Depending on the kitchen scheme i can consider painting this cabinet door sophisticated red and then it will be more visible from the kitchen than lively red and grounded red.

Some of the art that im considering for this room. Anyway all the art can be changed. It is mostly meant as inspiration for you, but the most important thing for me is to find colors that fit the floor and kokos and that doesn't clash with the reds. If u "see" more than one scheme for this room i would love to have some alternatives of good colors for the walls and cabinet🥰 thank u!

Thank's. I think the thing to do is to paint all the white surfaces in the samt white. So, if you have LADY 1624 Lätthet on your windows, doors and woodwork, it will be a smoother look if you alsom paint the celing in Lätthet.
LADY 1624 Lätthet is often a good white with LADY 1931 Kokos, different reds, pinks and a lot of other colours.
When all your white surfaces is in LADY 1624 Lätthet then have a look at LADY 8494 Organic Green, LADY 8469 Green Leaf, LADY 12075 Soothing Beige, LADY 10966 Almond Beige or LADY 12120 Desert Pink. Walls in kitchen can be in LADY 10678 Space, LADY 1875 Sans or LADY 1832 Skandinaviskt Ljus.
Please test the colours before painting.

Thank you! We have been thinking a lot. We liked the idea about green and beige in our kitchen. We have landed on that we would like a deep olive green or yellowish olive brown color for the cabinets and then beige walls. Maybe something like oliventrä or olivenlund for the cabinets and then kokos or maybe sand, space, soft touch or another color for the wall. Do you think green colors like these will fit pur floor and lively red/grounded red in the laundry room? Do you prefer oliventrä or olivenlund? We dont know which color we should have for the 1. Ceiling/beams 2. The countertop (microcement) and 3. The ventilator box (we will build a box around the ventilator). Please also consider these elements😊 In the ceiling (or just the beams) we would like another color than the walls to make the room a little bit more interesting. Im thinking for the ceiling maybe another lighter green, stronger beige, light pink, light mauve.. Would u kindly help us build a color palette around olive green cabinets? It doesn't have to match the artwork or rug, so forget about that. Another question: Would it be a good idea to paint the red fireplace in the nearby room n the same color as the wall, kokos, and then put these white/red tiles on the attached picture inside the fireplace frame in a chess-like pattern? (The black Chinese artwork on each side of the fireplace i will drop) I was thinking about doing something similar in the niche in the kitchen, bit this is not for certain yet.

More olivgreen does not match with the green in the painting but if that's not inportant please have a look at LADY 8430 Olivträd, LADY 5906 Olivenlund, LADY 8546 Local Green, LADY 8304 Timjan or the brown LADY 10965 Hipster Brown for the cabinets. The walls can be in LADY 10679 Washed Linen, LADY 1875 Sans, LADY 1832 Skandinaviskt Ljus or LADY 12075 Soothing Beige. If you want colour in your ceiling have al look at LADY 2040 Ljus Granit och LADY 10290 Soft Touch.
You have to test the colours to see which ones are the best for your home.

Thank you! May i ask why you dont recommend kokos for the walls, the same as in the nearby room? 😊 I have now tested olivenlund and oliventre, and sadly i didnt like them as much as i thought. I think its better we forget about all the other artwork and just concentrate on this painting of a woman's back that i attach now. I love this painting. You dont have to give me a color scheme yet with wall color etc., but please just tell me different colors for the kitchen cabinets that can go with this painting + kokos, lätthet and lively red/grounded red (lively red looks darker than it is from our kitchen because of the light conditions). It would also be great if the cabinet color goes with details in brass and copper. I am also open for neutral colors in the cabinets, but not white. You dont have to read through all of our dialoge, just this message😊

My misstake, It's a great idea ton have LADY 1931 Kokos om the walls also in the kitchen but you have to test the colour to se how it apears in that light.
How did you lik LADY 8304 Timjan and LADY 10965 Hipster Brown? Please also have a look att LADY 8494 Organic Green, LADY 8422 Green Marble and LADY 7613 Northern Mystic. Don't forget to test before you start.

Hi again! I have been thinking A LOT😊 my gut feeling is that im hesitant about green, but i think i have come up with an idea i really like. If we forget about all the artwork and details, do you think blue kitchen cabinets and a soft pink/peach wall and ceiling would look nice with the floor and lively red/grounded red? And what about painting the window above the countertop in beige or greige (and the rest of the windows and lists will probably be the same color as the walls)? Please feel free to do some adjustments in this scheme: Walls and ceiling: devine, soft touch or ljus granit Countertop and ventilator hood: froströk in microcement Cabinets under countertop: st Pauls blue Window above countertop: modern beige, Marrakech, sand or another color? My comments regarding the scheme: - i would prefer a wall color that was a little less grey than devine, but also lighter than ljus granitt. Maybe a tad more red too, if that looks better with the floor? Do you have a color like this in your archive? The reason why i would prefer a less grey color is just to be able to use stronger colors in the details. - Will it be too noisy with blue, pink and red together in the corner to our red laundry room? Would another blue color be better? Maybe the blue should be a little greyer and darker than st Pauls blue? I want to receive an elegant and harmonious look, but still not boring. If it will be too much with red, blue and pink together i would consider painting the cabinets under the countertop beige/greige and rather give the tall cabinets a pop of color. I can try to find some distinct ncs-codes in my "jotun ncs index 1950 colours" fan if you agree with the suggestions of adjustments above😊

I think blue cabinets är lovely with pinks and also redish beige tones.
So please have a look at cabinets in LADY 5030 St. Pauls Blue, LADY 4477 Deco Blue or LADY 5180 Oslo, walls and ceiling and woodwork in LADY 10290 Soft Touch. Windows can be in LADY 1376 Froströk.
If you wish to go for a darker pink, have a look at LADY 20047 Blushing Peach.
Not sure if you can paint the contertop.
Please try the colours before using.

Hi again! I tried the blues, but i thought it was too much contrast to the floor, so i think blue will just be an accent color. Now i have returned to my original plan and come up with a calmer palette. Please adjust this palette if you see that there are better options, especially im unsure of the color on the cabinets. I also found some tiles that i liked for the countertop in the laundry room and another ones for the kitchen niche. Please comment on if they will be good in this palette😊 i can remove the tiles from this palette and find other tiles if they are not a good match. Its first and foremost important to find the optimal cabinet color to the floor and walls. Walls: soft touch Ceiling: devine (or desert pink or?) (Or vice versa: walls devine and ceiling soft touch) Cabinets: Marrakech or another beige color?? Lists: lätthet Countertop: froströk (microcement) Laundry room: still lively red, grounded red and what about using these blueish Burgundy tiles to cover the countertop in the laundry room? Kitchen niche: what about these white and red colored tiles in a chess pattern? You dont have to consider the artwork!😊 For details im thinking black and copper.

LADY 10290 Soft Touch, LADY 12083 Devine and LADY 1623 Marrakesh are usually nice together. Also try LADY 1929 Muskotnöt for the cabinets. LADY 1376 Froströk or LADY 0486 Silke for the countertop.
I'm not shure what you mean by the kitchen-nisch?
For the nearby laundryroom I would go for the same colours as in the kitchen to make it calm.
Please try all colours before chosing.
