I have recently purchased an apartment that currently has wallpaper including boarders, from ca 20 years ago. The rooms don’t have great lighting from windows The entrance hall is open to the kitchen, and flows into the living room. I am having the floors replace with a light beige/greyish color I need suggestions for the same color to flow through out the entire space, and another color in the bedroom. The sofas are yellow Kitchen is mint green I’ve been looking at JOTUN SOMMARSNÖ But I don’t want it to be too grey And bedroom in some kind of light blue/green

Hi,
I'd be happy to help you, but I need a little more information here. If you have the opportunity to check what color code (ncs or Jotun) you have on your roofs, windows, doors, moldings and kitchen cabinets, unless ALL of these details in the entire home are to be painted, that would be great. It affects which colors will look good and how you will experience the end result. The easiest way to find out is to borrow color samples of the most common whites, S0500-N, 0502-S (without the S) and S0502-Y, and see which of these comes closest to your white details. Then come back with this and colorcodes in adjacent rooms, and I will be happy to help you further with a color plan.

I’m. Not in the home yet. Painter will be in before I move in. And the ceiling will be painted then So if u can recommend color. That’s what it will be. Windows, etc will be painted at a later date. The kitchen is mint green and white so I don’t think I can change the trim/valve from white. But give me your suggestions My sofas are retro yellow. Which I love. (Pic attached)And I will probably just have curtains in bedroom (Not a fan) Thx, Kristina

Please look at 12123 CONTEMPORARY WHITE, 1875 SANS, 0486 SILKE, 1275 MILD or 1625 SJÄL for living, kitchen and hallway. Bedroom can be in 6351 TENDER GREEN, 8281 PALE LINDEN, 7626 AIRY GREEN, 7627 REFRESH or 5452 NORDIC BREEZE.
Paint all Ceilings, windows, door and trimmings in 1624 LÄTTHET.
Please note that the white colour on the details is important to how you will experience the colours above.
Test the colours on large sheets of paper that you can move around the room, so you can see how the colors are perceived in different lights and in different places.

You are the best. All my coworkers got so excited on how professional this service is. Ok. I’m leaning toward själ and airy green. This is the floor (pic) and the back drop tiles in kitchen are pure white. Will that work with ceiling color

If your tiles are in pure white its better ton chose 9918 KLASSISK VIT for all windows, ceilings, doors and trimmings. according to the floorpicture I think the chosen floor is a bit red in the undertone. Therefore look att 1376 FROSTRÖK or 0486 SILKE instead of 1625 SJÄL. 1625 SJÄL can look greenish with a more redish floor.
Please test colours before using it😉

Hi again. I bought tests jars of Silke and pale Linden Silke I love. But pale Linden I think is a little too dark. Do u have a suggestion of a color that is lighter than pale linden with a hit of blue or teal. The ceiling will be classic white. I’ve attached the pics Thank you again

Hi again I tested Airy Green and it is fantastic. It will be perfect. I have one more question. I have seen a lot of design ideas that we can paint the ceiling the same color as walls. (Or slightly diluted) is that a realistic idea for that room? Also, possibly paint the door trim and floor trim in a darker color? I might be losing it. What do u think. Thanks again. Kristina

When painting a ceiling in the same colour as the walls, it usually creates a feeling that the ceiling is higher then it actually is, since the colour do not stop at the ceiling.
If you want to ad a darker green on your woodwork please look at 7628 TREASURE or 7627 REFRESH. Paint all details that is white in 9918 KLASSISK VIT.
Don't forget to test the colours before using them😉
