Hello Anita, I would like your advice on choosing a suitable Jotun wall colour and the door color for my studio room. I have attached photos of the actual room for reference. Existing colours and materials The main existing elements that will remain in the room are: - Built-in furniture: Mainly light warm beige / cream wood-grain laminate, with some sections in a darker grey-brown / taupe wood grain. Overall, the built-in furniture has a warm neutral undertone rather than a cool grey undertone. - Floor: Very light natural wood / pale beige wood flooring with a subtle warm undertone. - Window frames: Silver-grey aluminium. - Ceiling: I will repaint it in Jotun Misty White color. - Work desk: Light grey. - Office chairs: Black. - TV and computer monitor screens: Black. - There are also some other black/dark elements in the room, such as the refrigerator. Please do not take the current curtain colour into consideration, as I plan to replace the curtains later after the wall colour has been selected. I will choose new curtains to coordinate with the final wall colour. How the room is used This is a studio room used for sleeping as well as working/living, so I would like the wall colour to create a calm, relaxing and comfortable atmosphere for sleeping, while still feeling bright, clean and pleasant during the daytime. The room is relatively compact and contains a significant amount of built-in furniture, so I would also like the colour to help the room feel more spacious and visually uncluttered. Future rental consideration I may also rent out this studio in the future, so I would prefer a colour with broad appeal that is neutral, timeless and easy to coordinate with different furniture, bedding and decorating styles. Your kind advice on the Jotun color is much appreciated. Thank you.
